From a one-man operation in Greg Sr.'s garage to a team of 30+ dedicated professionals, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and the milestones that have shaped our success, including:
1987
GBFC is established with Greg Sr. as the sole employee—a one man, one van operation!
1998
We open our first warehouse in Portland.
2003
Greg Jr. joins the company full-time after graduating from the University of Oregon—Go Ducks!
2013
We expand to a larger showroom and warehouse in Gresham, growing to 10 employees!
2015
Brittany joins the team full time after completing her Master’s at Seattle University!
2016
We achieve Wedi certification, expanding the tile division to include custom shower enclosures and full bath remodels.
2017
GBFC is licensed as a General Contractor, expanding the maintenance and remodeling division.
2023
Greg Sr. passes the torch to Greg Jr., ushering in a new era as GBFC evolves into Baurer Construction & Flooring.
2024
We purchase JAW construction and continue to expand the residential side of the company. Brittany and John join the Ownership Team!
